Hi everyone! I'm British and my background and expertise is in Business English, especially the legal industry as I as a legal secretary for more than a decade (which means I've also got a fast typing speed, which is really useful!). That said, I've worked with quantity surveyors, programmers, engineers, accountants, scientists, doctors, and psychologists, as well as lawyers! I also really enjoy correcting academic work such as theses and have proofread many university applications for my clients. Lastly, I also help candidates prepare for IELTS so I am happy to correct IELTS essays too! I'm genuinely passionate about English and good writing, and I write short stories and poetry of my own in my spare time.

I haven't travelled as much as I'd like to - yet! If I had to choose, I'd probably say London is my favourite city, and I don't think I can choose a favourite country - of the ones I've visited, they've all been so different it's impossible to compare! Morocco was fun, and I think I definitely prefer warmer places as I found living in Canada was just too cold for me. Switzerland was the cleanest place I've ever been to, and for that reason, stunning. Ireland was incredibly wet, even more so than I imagined - though I did move there in November, which was ill-advised! France I love, though due to the quality and deliciousness of French food, I always seem to put on weight whenever I go there! There are many places I've yet to visit, with Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and South America all high on the list.
As for hobbies, I have several! I really love slacklining, (look it up if you don't know, it's so much fun!), which is my favourite activity to keep fit. I also love handpan (an amazing instrument), cooking, walking, and spending time with my family.
