講師からお知らせ
I am a Canadian-born native English speaker now residing in Costa Rica. I have a university degree and a post-graduate certificate in G.I.S. (Geographical Information Systems) from McMaster University. I have visited many cultures for extended periods of time and teach children English in an area where there is no opportunity to practice. I understand the frustrations and excitement of learning a new language and way of thinking. My proofreading style encompasses three areas: 1) checking your English for grammatical errors and use of everyday English; 2) making sure your meaning comes across to the reader even though it is crossing both language and cultural differences; 3) offering suggestions to improve the style and construction of your composition. I enjoy working for IDIY and their clients because I enjoy teaching while at the same time it gives me the opportunity to learn about the Japanese culture.
趣味・好きな国・訪問した国
My hobbies include breeding and photographing horses, horseback riding, making cheese and gardening. My favorite countries are Canada, Costa Rica, and Indonesia. I have also visited the Solomon Islands, the Dominican Republic, Curacao, England, Spain, Italy, Fiji, and the U.S.A.

Hello Desiree Sorry, you've got a cold in such circumstance.... People are sensitive about being healthy or not. We stupidly try not to cough in public, even when we just feel uncomfortable on throat. Thank you so much for the corrections and the nice message. I'm flattered. Stay warm and take lot of water. I hope you get better soon. Yoko

I am happy to know you like the phrase "rugby being on the unlucky list." I think it is quite well written. I continue the 2nd and 3rd sentences, and I meant Japanese people remember...... but actually, yours sounds much better, as every country team played with a great team spirits. Thank you so much. That's right! Thank you for reminding me. I should think and write in English, English must come to my thinking first before Japanese, when I write a English sentence.
