Announcements
* Please note that I am on leave for a few days and will return on Tuesday 3rd May. Thank you * I really enjoy working for IDIY as an English teacher. I am passionate about languages and respect and admire the enthusiasm and dedication of Japanese learners, who I find to be polite, thoughtful, determined, and hard-working. I return my orders within 12 hours, and often much sooner. I know how frustrating it can be to wait for a corrected document when you have deadlines to meet, so I always aim to return a very natural-sounding version of your writing, taking time over detail and with consideration for your audience and the nature of your document. I have a few regular customers with whom I enjoy exchanging short messages in the message box. I love to learn about Japanese culture and very much hope to visit Japan one day. I would love to be able to help you with your English! Best wishes, Catherine
Hobbies/Travel
My hobbies are running, cycling, walking and cooking. I also love to travel and experience different cultures, lifestyles and languages. I have visited Canada, America, South Africa, Thailand, Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Switzerland, Andorra and Holland. I would love to visit Australia, New Zealand and Japan! I also love to spend time with my family and explore France, where we moved to in 2014. I am married with two children, we have two cats and we live in a very beautiful and rural area in the South of France. In July 2021 we will be moving back to England.
Message from the instructor
I pride myself on my accuracy when correcting orders. I love to analyse languages and understand the etymology of words. I aim to correct orders in the most natural style possible so that you can learn to write and speak English as a native speaker.

After all, I throwed beans in my house and also outside after getting home. Setsubun means that get rid of bad luck, so we can throw in our own house without Oni. If there are children, their parents dress up Oni. And they throw beans to them. Setsubun is 3th February, so please come to japan in February someday:) Thank you for checking my documents!

Oh! Do you live in a rural area? That’s so nice! I’ve been to England, but never been to France. I hope to someday! Actually, I have other reason why I cannot move. I cannot quit my job at the moment. I hope you come to Japan too. I think Japan is so attractive:)

Thank you for your check ! You live in France, right ? I read your self-introduction. Speaking of England, I learned guitar colds from The Beatles. Long ago, a guy from England said to me that Japanese people like The Beatles much more than British people. When you come to Japan, you will listen to their music a lot around cafes or restaurants in Japan.
