講師からお知らせ: Hi! My name is Rebecca, and I live in the South Island of New Zealand. I am primarily a dedicated wife and mother, but I'm also a supportive and encouraging teacher. For the past sixteen years I have been homeschooling our seven children, two of whom have left home to work and do further study. Teaching is a natural part of my everyday life, and I love imparting knowledge and encouraging others on their learning journey. I have a warm and friendly personality, and I am patient and understanding. As well as homeschooling our children, I am a freelance copy editor and proofreader. I enjoy going over people's written work, giving thorough attention to detail and correcting any inaccuracies while preserving the author's style and intention. I am committed to any task, no matter what length the composition is, and I will always meet deadlines. Thank you for reading my profile, and I look forward to working with you!
趣味・好きな国・訪問した国: I enjoy spending time with my family - my husband and seven children. We live in a remote area in the beautiful South Island of New Zealand, beside a stunning lake, so we are often out and about bushwalking, riding our bikes, or swimming in the lake (in summer!). I also enjoy gardening and reading. In my spare time, I like making soap, natural skincare products and herbal remedies from the plants that grow in our area. I love meeting people from other cultures and learning from them. I spent some of my childhood in Papua New Guinea, in a small village in the highlands where the local women wore grass skirts and men hunted and fought with bows and arrows. I have also lived in northern Australia and Germany, and have visited many countries in Eastern Europe, appreciating their rich history. My favourite places in the world are the beautiful and colourful South Pacific islands. I have been to the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Fiji, New Caledonia and Samoa, the cradle of Polynesia. My husband is from Samoa, so we occasionally travel there and stay with family in their seaside village. If I have the opportunity, I would love to do some more travelling, especially to Asian countries, including Japan! There are so many amazing places to see, and I think the best thing about travelling is meeting the local people. I also enjoy cooking food from different cultures, so a highlight of travelling to other countries would be sampling the local cuisine.
