講師からお知らせ: I’ve got a solid background in English writing and grammar, with over two decades of sharpening my skills in editing, proofreading, and writing. As a native English speaker with a C2 ESAT score and some handy qualifications, I’ve really honed my craft! When I’m not busy with words, I’m probably at the beach, lost in a good book, or spending time with my dogs. It’s all about keeping things balanced! I have taught English since 2007 in the informal sector - at children's home schools and in townships. I have also written everything from book summaries, journals, articles, and books. I have managed staff, run children's home, taught expat learners, and built a school for those that had no access to education. Education and words are my passion as I grew up in a family of teachers three generations back.
趣味・好きな国・訪問した国: I have visited Zimbabwe - the lions and buffalo roam in the streets there and the Victoria Falls are an amazing spectacle. I lived in Moscow, Russia, for three years and taught at an expat school. I also taught spoken Afrikaans (my 2nd home language) spoken classes to honours students at Moscow University. So I did not only slip on the ice, which I am not used to in my sunny country! My hobbies include listening to music, reading, knitting and watching a good movie now and then. I am an avid gymmer, and I love spending time with family and friends. I love the beach and could stare at the waves -and whales or dolphins- for hours.
