I also recognize that most people possess unique talents and have succeeded in some areas of life; they have, however, not developed English writing skills. As an instructor, I understand that writing skills are developed in small, sequential steps. I, therefore, have the patience to help customers understand the rules and how to apply them. The most crucial step, however, is to express sincere appreciation for articles or texts written by customers. When making corrections, I remember that to err is human. Most people make mistakes, occasionally, even when speaking and writing their native tongue. Customers should, therefore, be easy on themselves. As someone empathetic and patient, I can make corrections without making others feel humiliated.
