Announcements
* Please note that I am on leave for a few days and will return on Tuesday 3rd May. Thank you * I really enjoy working for IDIY as an English teacher. I am passionate about languages and respect and admire the enthusiasm and dedication of Japanese learners, who I find to be polite, thoughtful, determined, and hard-working. I return my orders within 12 hours, and often much sooner. I know how frustrating it can be to wait for a corrected document when you have deadlines to meet, so I always aim to return a very natural-sounding version of your writing, taking time over detail and with consideration for your audience and the nature of your document. I have a few regular customers with whom I enjoy exchanging short messages in the message box. I love to learn about Japanese culture and very much hope to visit Japan one day. I would love to be able to help you with your English! Best wishes, Catherine
Hobbies/Travel
My hobbies are running, cycling, walking and cooking. I also love to travel and experience different cultures, lifestyles and languages. I have visited Canada, America, South Africa, Thailand, Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Switzerland, Andorra and Holland. I would love to visit Australia, New Zealand and Japan! I also love to spend time with my family and explore France, where we moved to in 2014. I am married with two children, we have two cats and we live in a very beautiful and rural area in the South of France. In July 2021 we will be moving back to England.
Message from the instructor
I pride myself on my accuracy when correcting orders. I love to analyse languages and understand the etymology of words. I aim to correct orders in the most natural style possible so that you can learn to write and speak English as a native speaker.

An old Japanese proverb says there are three types of human relationship and the strength or length differs by the types. First, parents-children relationship lasts one generation (present life only). Second, husband-wife relationship lasts two generations (previous through present life). Third, master-subordinate relationship lasts three generations (previous through future life). Education falls on the third category. The effect of meeting good teachers is strong enough to last longer than marriage relationship. A good teacher has the power to change people, society and the future. I will depart from IDIY service today but I have met several good teachers. Many thanks!

Thank you for your quick editing back as always. When getting the notice of 'Editing is completed!' from IDIY, I make it a rule to read the edited version first in order to appreciate how natural native English sounds, and then to make myself believe that this is my original composition! I am sure this hypnosis will work.

Hi, Catymcd-san, Thank you for your corrections, as always. Your understanding is correct, sorry to make you confuse and it may take your time a bit longer for this time? To be honest, I was not so confident with my yestesdays sentence so that I appreciate your kind hardwork! Also, I believe failure teaches success. Regards, Tommy
