Announcements
* Please note that I am on leave for a few days and will return on Tuesday 3rd May. Thank you * I really enjoy working for IDIY as an English teacher. I am passionate about languages and respect and admire the enthusiasm and dedication of Japanese learners, who I find to be polite, thoughtful, determined, and hard-working. I return my orders within 12 hours, and often much sooner. I know how frustrating it can be to wait for a corrected document when you have deadlines to meet, so I always aim to return a very natural-sounding version of your writing, taking time over detail and with consideration for your audience and the nature of your document. I have a few regular customers with whom I enjoy exchanging short messages in the message box. I love to learn about Japanese culture and very much hope to visit Japan one day. I would love to be able to help you with your English! Best wishes, Catherine
Hobbies/Travel
My hobbies are running, cycling, walking and cooking. I also love to travel and experience different cultures, lifestyles and languages. I have visited Canada, America, South Africa, Thailand, Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Switzerland, Andorra and Holland. I would love to visit Australia, New Zealand and Japan! I also love to spend time with my family and explore France, where we moved to in 2014. I am married with two children, we have two cats and we live in a very beautiful and rural area in the South of France. In July 2021 we will be moving back to England.
Message from the instructor
I pride myself on my accuracy when correcting orders. I love to analyse languages and understand the etymology of words. I aim to correct orders in the most natural style possible so that you can learn to write and speak English as a native speaker.

Dear Catherine, Thank you very much for your correction! I was relieved to hear that you were OK with reading my story. I sometimes tell these kind of stories to my students when they didn't pay attentions. They become quiet in no time. I hear that hotels that have ghosts are very popular in Europe. Isn't it true? Aren't people scared of ghosts? What if they were possessed by ghosts? I hope you are enjoying your summer. Best regards, Ayako Nara

Dear Catherine, Thank you very much for your correction! I always feel sad when I hear the kind of news. The both groups have their own reason to insist their opinion. I hope the mayor manage this problem very well. Best regards, Ayako Nara

Dear Catherine, Thank you very much for your correction! After that, I picked the bill up and went to the office. Actually, no one would go to the office to look for small money, so the 5000yen probably became the government's. Chinese students often give me some small gifts. When I grade examination papers, the student's score is 59 (under 60 is failure), I always remember the things that the student gave me and the image bother me a lot. So I can imagine how difficult for politicians to refuse their financial supporters' request. Of course they are not supposed to take anything though. Again, I appreciate your help as always. Best regards, Ayako Nara
