Announcements
Hello, I'm Dr. hfaber, a professional English teacher based in Miami, Florida. With 30 years of classroom experience, I specialize in both American and British English, having taught international students across Europe and the Americas. Being fluent in Spanish, I understand the challenges my students face when learning a new language. I love sharing my love of English words with my students, developing their vocabulary by providing options to allow them to choose their voice and make their written ideas their own. When I revise written work, I consider the student's ideas and their communication goals, whether for work, travel, study, or personal development. I explain the necessary revisions and provide examples to help students remember and apply what they've learned. Our writing lessons create a safe space for students to take risks and embrace learning by doing.
Hobbies/Travel
I love reading books on human psychology, real stories, and philosophical novels. Firstly, I enjoy reading them, but I also believe that they help me to broaden my horizons, and to learn a lot of things that I can use in my work teaching, and editing. If nothing else, they help me improve my vocabulary and communication skills, and also they help my mind relax a bit. I also enjoy theater, art, ballet and great films from all different time periods!

Thank you for correcting my essay. Your suggestions were easy to understand. In particular, I didn’t know the difference between “useful” and “convenient.” Thanks again!

Thank you for the revision, Helen. Yeah, you know, comic and anime are very popular in Japan. Not only kids, but also adults like them. I'll write something about them as my essay.
