Announcements
Hi, my name is Dr. Helen Faber, and I am a Miami, Florida-based English teacher with years of experience teaching in the United States and Latin America. I love teaching and have become an online tutor in the past few years. When I correct students' written work, I take into account their needs and preferences, explaining why corrections and revisions were necessary as well as providing examples to illustrate my points.
Hobbies/Travel
I love reading books on human psychology, real stories, and philosophical novels. Firstly, I enjoy reading them, but I also believe that they help me to broaden my horizons, and to learn a lot of things that I can use in my work teaching, and editing. If nothing else, they help me improve my vocabulary and communication skills, and also they help my mind relax a bit.
Message from the instructor
I help students correct their texts by explaining why corrections and revisions were made, and providing examples of how to better express their ideas in English. I pay attention to my students' needs and preferences and try to make corrections and revisions that are both effective and meaningful to them.

Dear hfaber, Thank you for your corrections and feedback. Your rewords and comment are very helpful for me. Especially, a difference between "everyday" and "every day" is so helpful! Regards, JUNn.

Thank you for correcting my essay. Your suggestions were easy to understand. In particular, I didn’t know the difference between “useful” and “convenient.” Thanks again!

Thank you for the revision, Helen. Yeah, you know, comic and anime are very popular in Japan. Not only kids, but also adults like them. I'll write something about them as my essay.
