Announcements
Hello :) I'm Stu and I'm happy to teach you English! If you are looking for help with Business English, Conversational English, Academic Writing or General Skill, I can help. I have been a professional English teacher for 3 years now and love my job! I live in Vancouver, Canada although I was born in the UK. I can speak both American and British English, so if you have a question about the differences, don't hesitate to ask. Thank you for visiting my profile and I hope to talk to you soon. Best Stu
Hobbies/Travel
My hobbies are martial arts, playing video games, watching movies and writing stories. I live in Vancouver, Canada and I'm thirty-three years old. I've visited Japan a few times and my favorite place is Arashiyama. I was very lucky a few years ago and got to spend some time traveling while I was working. This allowed me to live in a few different countries, such as Spain, England, France, The Netherlands, Germany and even Japan.
Message from the instructor
I try to explain the rules of English using normal words, so that it's easier to understand. I know that there are so many rules to remember, but it's my hope that if we work on understanding why the rules exist, it will be easier to remember them and use them when speaking English. Please let me know if I can improve in some way. I would definitely appreciate your feedback.

Hi Stu, Thank you for correcting this essay and suggesting these alternatives! Because my attention was distracted by another thing while I went downstairs, I broke my ankle. Since then, I forcus on this very moment when going downstairs. It's really dangerous! Have a great Wednesday! Many thanks as always, Kaori

Dear Stu, Thank you for your work. I realized that I tend to miss comma sometimes. I'll be careful when I come to a point in a sentence where I can take a breath. If it is a breath point, maybe I need a comma. Regards, newblues
