Announcements
* Please note that I am on leave for a few days and will return on Tuesday 3rd May. Thank you * I really enjoy working for IDIY as an English teacher. I am passionate about languages and respect and admire the enthusiasm and dedication of Japanese learners, who I find to be polite, thoughtful, determined, and hard-working. I return my orders within 12 hours, and often much sooner. I know how frustrating it can be to wait for a corrected document when you have deadlines to meet, so I always aim to return a very natural-sounding version of your writing, taking time over detail and with consideration for your audience and the nature of your document. I have a few regular customers with whom I enjoy exchanging short messages in the message box. I love to learn about Japanese culture and very much hope to visit Japan one day. I would love to be able to help you with your English! Best wishes, Catherine
Hobbies/Travel
My hobbies are running, cycling, walking and cooking. I also love to travel and experience different cultures, lifestyles and languages. I have visited Canada, America, South Africa, Thailand, Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Switzerland, Andorra and Holland. I would love to visit Australia, New Zealand and Japan! I also love to spend time with my family and explore France, where we moved to in 2014. I am married with two children, we have two cats and we live in a very beautiful and rural area in the South of France. In July 2021 we will be moving back to England.
Message from the instructor
I pride myself on my accuracy when correcting orders. I love to analyse languages and understand the etymology of words. I aim to correct orders in the most natural style possible so that you can learn to write and speak English as a native speaker.

Oh, it’s difficult for me to explain this profile picture, but I manage to try it! They were dancing ‘Bon-Odori’ which is a Japanese dance. It is often danced at Japanese festivals called ‘Omatsuri’, but this was danced at Japanese bar called ‘Izakaya’. I’m sorry! A PR book means a Sightseeing guidebook. So I asked a shopper to set a sightseeing guidebook of Shimane prefecture! Do you understand?? Thank you for your checking:)

Oh! I’m so sorry. I meant ‘inbound tourist’! We want to be interested in Japanese cultures by foreigners. Because foreigners who travel in Japan are increasing so much! A Turkish man also aim to them for gathering customers. ↑(Maybe this sentence is wrong. I’m sorry) Are you interested in bon-dance bar?haha Do you know bon-dance? It’s Japanese traditional dance called ‘bon-odori’ in Japan. In fact, we call the place drinking ‘Izakaya’. But maybe it isn’t understood by foreigners because it’s also a Japanese culture. So I said ‘bar’. The bon dance bar can experience bon-odori and drink, he said. It’s for foreigners, but he needs to gather Japanese people. Because foreigners want to experience with local Japanese people. Gathering Japanese customers is more difficult than foreigners! (my profile picture is dancing bon odori) Oh, sounds good!! I want to spread Japanese cultures more all over the world!lol Thank you for your checking:)

It’s so difficult for us to do new thing... But if we don’t do that, maybe we’ll be sorry. We should do, though it’s not easy to decide that.haha By the way, I thank you to learn about difference will and be going to! Thank you for your clearly checking and so kind comments:)
