Dear Joyce-san, Thank you very much for your message. I’m doing well. How have you been doing? I appreciate your prompt response to this matter. The alternative sentences with expressions you have offered are very useful for me. >Quote for today: "It takes guts to walk into a burning building; firefighters think differently from other people." Hello,Joyce. How are you doing? Thank you for the amendments you made on my essay, and I appreciate your nice comments, I'm flattered. In the 5th sentence, it has to be "inexpensively" instead of "inexpensive". When I wrote the sentence I just thought it sounds OK, and didn't think of grammar. As for the last sentence, you gave me the change, " even if I am not so much of a DIY person, though." it sounds perfect, and it must have "of" after "so much". Also, you added "if " after "even", making it a conditional, right? Actually, I'm not a DIY person. So, I meant to say "Even though I am not a DIY person.". I wanted to try the sentence "even I am not a so much DIY person, though." ( I added "so much" and moved "though" to the last. ) I'm not sure that your correction conveys what I meant to say. Maybe.....my sentence doesn't make sense and confused you. I'm very happy to read the alternatives. Thank you so much. I like the phrase "says it all " and "be great cost savings". I will remember them and use them someday. Hoping to see you soon again. Yoko P.S. You call me Yoko, that's nice, thank you.
