Announcements
Hi, my name is Lea and I am a 46-year-old guy from a lovely city called Gloucestershire which is in the southwest of the United Kingdom. Gloucestershire is in the heart of the Cotswolds and is famous for the crazy cheese rolling event that happens yearly. Since leaving college in 1992 I have been in the electrical business in a managerial role and have studied electronics, health and safety and human resources. In 2012, I studied English and succeeded in an English TESOL course with Global English. Since passing my course I have been experiencing teaching English online and it has been one of the most enjoyable and rewarding jobs of my career. I started teaching in the classroom in the north of Thailand and trained over 2500 students in the English program which consisted of English, Maths, Science, Geography and PE. So far I have taught English to students worldwide and I have met some passionate, friendly and intelligent students who dream of speaking fluent English. I have taken over 40,000 online classes meeting around 30,000 people. I am an enthusiastic individual who enjoys speaking to people and likes to encourage and bring the best out of everyone. I love all types of sport; love to keep fit and healthy and I love travelling and foreign food. I look forward to meeting you and encouraging you to become more confident and fluent in your English learning journey, with writing, using vocabulary, expressions and colourful English language.
Hobbies/Travel
I love football, I support Manchester United and I go to watch them when I have spare time. I like swimming and try to swim at least 2km every day. I love other sports such as rugby and like to keep fit and visit the gym. My main hobby is travelling and I have been all over the world, the only continents I haven't visited are Australia and Antarctica. in 2016, I visited Brazil for the 2016 Rio Olympics working as an English broadcaster reporting the games in English through an app back to mainland China. I lived in Thailand for eight months of the year teaching and then lived in England, and Spain, for the rest. My favourite films are Taken and Castaway. My favourite book is the Harry Potter collection.
Message from the instructor
I like to encourage students as much as possible, I am here to help and I want to get the best out of our customers. I want them to feel comfortable working with me and students must never get upset by my corrections, they are there to help, I never want to embarrass the student or make them feel they have lost confidence in carrying on learning the subject. I like to make correcting tactful. I am here to help you succeed in speaking, writing, listening and thinking in a good standard of English. I will teach you all the important things about the English language, this will include tenses, sentence order, spelling, expressions, phrasal verbs, idioms and word usage. I will teach you phrases that we use in our everyday language. This will help you communicate in English with friends, in conversations, or on the internet, or even to be successful in getting employment.

Dear Mr. leahook, Thank you very much for your correction! Actually, I knew that 2018 is the World Cup year just after Japanese team lost the game. Although I was watching TV news, I thought that they were playing preliminary games. Maybe I need a vacation.. Anyway, now you must be very excited about the semi final held on Wednesday. Again, I really appreciate your help and message, it encouraged me a lot! Best regards, Ayako Nara

Dear leahook, Thanks for revising my essay. Again, I was little surprised that I could write mostly correct English continuously. I felt I need much more practice, in order to be able to write perfect sentences. By the way, I'm happy to hear that you got very smart watch. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to purchase it because I'm a student right now:) Anyway, thank you very much, and I hope you would review my next essay again!! Best, Keigo

Dear leahook, Thanks for revising my essay. I was surprised that my sentences were mostly correct. Sometimes, I could succeed to write correct sentences but most of the time that's hard for me. It needs relatively long time to writing as well. Anyway, I will keep going to become being good at writing English. I could get more confidence in writing English than before. Thank you very much, and I hope you would revise my next essay again!! Best, Keigo

Dear leahook, I am sorry that I am late for reply. Thanks for revising my essay strictly. For the first sentence, I mean I was not a participant, but I was a host of the welcome party, so that I used the words 'for freshmen'. Therefore, I am sorry if you had misunderstood my meaning due to my poor writing skill. When I say having a party as a host, I usually use the words 'I hold a party', but if this expression is not much suitable, let me know, please. Anyway, thank you so much for accepting my request, I hope you would review my next essay again!!

Dear leahook Thanks for revising my essay each time. I am sorry that I am late for replying. These days, I have been trying to decrease my minor mistakes in my writing, so please tell me strictly if I made some mistakes and used slightly wrong expression. I would also like to try to write as difficult sentences as native adult speakers usually do in reality, because I may go to study abroad in the U.S. this summer as a graduate student of Business Administration. Therefore, I must improve my writing skills as much as possible. If you would have some ideas regarding my objective, feel free to advice me, please. Thank you for your continuing cooperation. I hope you would correct my next essay again!! Best Regards, Keigo
