I am available every day, and I usually respond within 24 hours.
Hobbies/Travel
I enjoy reading (especially Harry Potter and Haruki Murakami), writing (fiction as well as academic papers), playing piano, playing video games (especially Japanese RPGs), and studying the Japanese language. My favorite country that I have visited is Japan! There are so many amazing things to see in your country!
Message from the instructor
I will be happy to help you produce clear, accurate English compositions while giving you additional information on how English works. I appreciate how difficult it must be for Japanese speakers to learn English, and so I will try my best to help you learn the language's complexities. I pay very close attention to details. In particular, I am sensitive to small nuances in meaning. I have studied some Japanese (although I am still a beginner), so I have an idea how different the two languages are. As a result, I can sometimes see what the original intention was according to Japanese grammar, and I can try to find a natural English equivalent. I am available to correct texts any day. I will be able to correct the text within 24 hours.

Thank you so much for your quick response ! In the the third sentence, I would like to explain the current trend that the world is coming to recognize and admit the way of thinking of the youth. So, the best and suitable word to describe my thought would be " take over" as you said ! However, I will search for a more modest words than " take over " if possible. . I will put this words into my dictionary in my brain !

Thank you very much again for your instruction ! I can not understand how I should distinguish usages of " the" and "a " depending the situation. I must learn a lot to continue writing more and more.

Hello David, Thank you for your feedback and lots of alternatives!! I especially appreciate the explanation of HOLD ONTO and HOLD ON!!! I was confused about the differences between these ones for a long time, but I understand it completely! Yesterday, I learned the differences between CHECK INTO(transitive verb) and CHECK IN (intransitive verb). These ones are the same concept, aren’t they?
For example… ・I checked into my accommodation. ・I checked in at my accommodation. I look forward to showing my other writings to you. Have a great one! Best wishes, Kohei

Hello David, Thank you for reviewing my writings and I appreciate you always telling me NATURAL English rather than GRAMMATICALLY-CORRECT English! The alternatives you tell me are really helpful to check if I can understand the phrases you told me and make my English knowledge deeper. I look forward to showing my writings to you. Have a great one! Best wished, Kohei

Dear David, Thank you for providing some changes to my text. I memorize some new vocabulary like "for the entire trip", "ride on a monorail and trains" and "with three transfers". I need to learn this natural English flow from IDIY tutors. Sincerely, Bearmatsu
