Certifications
I am a certified TEFL teacher with over 3 years of experience teaching English to learners of various levels. In addition to my teaching qualifications, I am also a certified mentor and life coach, which enables me to support students not only academically but also in building their motivation and confidence. I bring strong communication and interpersonal skills to every session. My background also includes working as a licensed real estate agent, which has helped me develop professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
Announcements
I am available to work 7 days a week and respond to messages within 6 hours or less. I do not have any long holidays planned, so you can rely on me for consistent support and timely feedback. My strengths include clear communication, patience, and a flexible teaching style that adapts to each student's needs. I enjoy making lessons engaging and relatable by drawing on my interests, such as anime, Korean dramas, reading, and video games. Thank you for choosing me—I’m committed to helping you grow and enjoy your learning journey!
Hobbies/Travel
My hobbies include watching anime, enjoying Korean dramas, reading books, and playing video games. These interests help me connect easily with students who enjoy pop culture and storytelling. My favourite country is Japan, because over 80% of my students are Japanese, and I love learning about Japanese culture, language, and daily life through my lessons. Although I haven’t left my home country yet, I’m excited to say that I will be visiting Japan for three months starting in March next year. I look forward to experiencing the culture firsthand and deepening my understanding of what makes Japan so special.
Message from the instructor
Thank you for choosing me as your teacher! I always aim to correct your writing in a way that is clear, encouraging, and easy to understand. I will not only correct grammar and spelling but also explain why the change is needed, especially where Japanese and English differ. My goal is to help you build confidence by showing you how to speak more naturally and fluently in English. I will also highlight good expressions you use and give suggestions to make your writing even better. Whether you're writing a paragraph, an email, or preparing for an exam, I’m here to support you with patience and positivity.

Dear Kim, Thank you for reviewing my study. I had a tendency to translate Japanese directly, but being advised to say “better ways” instead of “the better way” made me realize that it sounds more natural. Sincerely, Cajaroa.

Dear Kim, Thank you for your advice. I learned how to naturally choose between negative and affirmative sentences, how to use “because” and “but,” and that I shouldn’t overuse “does” for emphasis. Sincerely, Cajaroa.

Dear Kim Thank you for you checking my study. I understood that “people” is plural, while “no one” is treated as singular, and that word choice (such as “tacky”) should be considered depending on the tone and style of the text. Sincerely, Cajaroa.

Dear Kim, Thank you for reviewing and advising my study. I understand some natural expressions. And I have never known that use "are" instead of "have". This makes the sentence stronger. I will fix it from next time. Sincerely. Cajaroa.

Dear Kim Thank you for your advice. I'm impressive for "in the case of" can be simplified to "with." I wasn't able to look up that expression. I still keep writing simple and easy-to-understand sentences. Best Regards. Cajaroa.
