Announcements
I am patient, knowledgeable, and thorough. With many years' experience in teaching English at all levels, I am intimately aware of the unique difficulties that English poses for Asian students. Positive criticism combines with increasing confidence to lead to an increasing mastery of English.
Hobbies/Travel
I love travelling, gardening, reading, sewing, and cats. I have visited the USA and most countries in Europe. My first visit to Asia was to the Philippines several years ago. My favorite country is perhaps Hungary, for my family lived there from 1724 to 1946.

Dear MagdaVirag, Thank you for your feedback. Reading your comments makes me feel like I’ve heard an interesting lecture from my favorite professor. I wish I had been your student ! My daughter’s semester finals will start from the day after tomorrow. Hope they will go well! Minus 20 degree is freezing cold! Please take care of yourself and stay warm, and let me know your favorite historical dramas for long winter days. Best regards, Ebiharumaki

Thank you very much. The concept of “countable “ and “ uncountable “ is still very confusing to me as well as the usage of the article and the definite article. But I’m expecting to become able to fully understand them with your intelligible explanation, thank you again.

Dear MagdaVirag, I really appreciate your support, as usual. Please do not apologize for the delay. I know that daytime in Japan is midnight in Canada. I was not surprised but disappointed when Trump won the presidential election. I’m afraid that new nationalism in the US could make the world more confused and dangerous. It is getting cold in Japan, too. I wore a coat for the first time in this year. Please take care of yourself. Warm regards, Ebiharumaki

Dear MagdaVirag, Wow, the leaves have already turned yellow in your garden. It must be beautiful but I know it’s a hard work to sweep up fallen leaves! Thank you for your warm words about my daughter. She is doing well. Today, we took a walk to the temple in our neighbor, Kuhonbutsu or Joshinji Temple. It has the picturesque alley under maple trees and wonderful gardens abandoned in trees. The leaves haven’t changed their color yet, but we had a pungent scent of gingko nuts. Best regards, Ebiharumaki

Dear MagdaVirag, I am glad you consider me a friend because I feel exactly the same way! I love reading your message that brings me beautiful sights of the countryside and warm feelings. My daughter is doing well and attending school. Thank you for your compassion. I appreciate for your advice about the present tense. I first used the present tense to explain the synopsis , but I changed it to the past tense. Now I understand! I heard it got cold there, take care of yourself. All best, Ebiharumaki
