Announcements
I am patient, knowledgeable, and thorough. With many years' experience in teaching English at all levels, I am intimately aware of the unique difficulties that English poses for Asian students. Positive criticism combines with increasing confidence to lead to an increasing mastery of English.
Hobbies/Travel
I love travelling, gardening, reading, sewing, and cats. I have visited the USA and most countries in Europe. My first visit to Asia was to the Philippines several years ago. My favorite country is perhaps Hungary, for my family lived there from 1724 to 1946.

Dear MagdaVirag, Thank you for your support and recommendation. I immediately looked for Russel’s “What I Have Lived For” and read it. I had never read Russel’s writings, but I was impressed. Hopefully I could say “I have found it worth living, and would gladly live it again.” in my later years. All best wishes, Ebiharumaki

Dear MagdaVirag, Thank you for your feedback. I have learned a new word “spillage “. I’m using it next time. Cherry blossoms have. Finally, finally started to bloom in Tokyo! Warm regards, Ebiharumaki

Dear MagdaVurag, Thank you for your support. True. Smartphones are certainly convenient, but sometimes I feel like being used by them, not using them. Warm regards, Ebiharumaki

Dear MagdaVirag,, I appreciate your advice. Actually, I laughed when I read “the couple will sit around and encourage each other when they don't feel like exercising!” :) It’s a quite heartwarming scene, isn’t it? Until next time! Ebiharumaki

Dear MagdaVirag, Thank you for your kind words and support. It is extremely cold in Canada, isn’t it? Hopefully it will warm up soon. We say “ when winter comes, spring is not far away.” , it’s a Japanese proverb. May the blooming spring come for my daughter ! Warm regards, Ebiharumaki

Thank you for your explanations and suggestions. I learned a lot! I didn’t know the word “dangling modifier.” I’ll be careful not to make the same mistake. I look forward to taking your lesson again.
