Also I worked for 6 years in Saudi Arabia, teaching technical writing in English at the University in Dhahran. My other teaching has been at a primary school in Norwich, England, as well as at various language schools in Spain. I am also a TESOL examiner for Trinity College, London, and have done oral interview tours in Italy, Spain and Ireland.

Hobbies/Travel: When I'm not working, I often play guitar in a jazz band. I lived in Brazil for 5 years. I came to love their music, as well as the Brazilian people. I even married a Brazilian! So my children are half-English and half-Brazilian. I have travelled a lot, taking in all of Europe and South America, as well as the Middle East and North Africa. I have never been to Japan, but I want to set that right soon! My next big ambition is to go to Japan. One of my other favourite activities is walking in the hills and forests. I find it very relaxing but also uplifting and energizing. I enjoy reading and going to the theatre and cinema. I'm very interested in history, as well as art, literature and music. Sport is also important to me. I play tennis and go regularly to the gym. As for football, I support Liverpool! Of course, I also follow politics and current affairs, and I like to read about recent scientific advances (I subscribe to the New Scientist magazine). I am skilled in coding, and I have made many interactive art programs for computer.
