Announcements
Hi! I am available to work on Tuesday, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, and I always try to complete work for you within 24 hours. I've been a teacher of English for 25 years. I've worked in Spain, Brazil, Saudi Arabia and England. I've also worked in publishing, where I have gained huge experience in editing, correcting text and proof-reading. Now, I'm so happy to be working with you. It's the perfect place for me, helping you to get the very best from your English education.
Hobbies/Travel
When I'm not working, I often play guitar in a jazz band. I lived in Brazil for 5 years. I came to love their music, as well as the Brazilian people. I even married a Brazilian! So my children are half-English and half-Brazilian. I have travelled a lot, taking in all of Europe and South America, as well as the Middle East and North Africa. I have never been to Japan, but I want to set that right soon! My next big ambition is to go to Japan. One of my other favourite activities is walking in the hills and forests. I find it very relaxing but also uplifting and energizing. I enjoy reading and going to the theatre and cinema. I'm very interested in history, as well as art, literature and music. Sport is also important to me. I play tennis and go regularly to the gym. As for football, I support Liverpool! Of course, I also follow politics and current affairs, and I like to read about recent scientific advances (I subscribe to the New Scientist magazine). I am skilled in coding, and I have made many interactive art programs for computer.
Message from the instructor
When I am working on your writing, I start by reading the entire piece in order to understand what you want to achieve. Then I correct grammar and spelling mistakes, and make any adjustments to phrasing and expression and tone, so that your writing can be as close as possible to what you are aiming for. I give clear, easy-to-understand explanations for all the changes that I make, and I often suggest different ways that your idea could be expressed. In the end, your passage of writing will be natural, smooth-flowing and accurate! I'm also kind and friendly. I love to encourage language-learners by praising their efforts and by keeping a warm friendship. Don't worry about making mistakes. It's good for you to feel free to express yourself, and it's often by making mistakes that we learn best.

Dear BoydStreeter, I appreciate your advice! Using properly transitive verbs and intransitive verbs is very difficult for non-native, but I am going to train again and again. Thanks to you this exercise was very fruitful. Have a nice weekend. Mashroom
