Hobbies/Travel
My hobbies include the sporting activities of golf, swimming and tennis. I am an Olympic athlete as I participated in the Munich Olympic Games in swimming. My sister competed in the Tokyo Olympic Games in 1964. I am also an avid cyclist. I love to read modern novels and I enjoy going to warm destinations such as Cuba, Jamaica and Mexico in the winter. I also love our Country of Canada as it is diverse. I live on the West Coast of Ontario Canada, next to the second largest fresh water lake in the world. Our village is known for its "Blue Beaches" (ecologically protected) pristine waters and western sunsets, which have been ranked in the top thirty in the world by U.S. News and Travel Report.
Message from the instructor
My style of text correction is diverse. I am able to handle "drastic change,"minimal change" and "no preference." I favor a flexible approach, as this allows me to make the texts as natural as possible. With my experience as a lawyer, I am not afraid to put in the extra effort by focusing on the message which the writer is trying to convey. I sincerely enjoy my teaching experiences and this attitude will be shown in my dialogue with the customers.

Thank you for your check of my composition. Wow wow!! I was so amazed to know your sister was an international athlete. She came to Tokyo Olympic, didn't she? It held in my elementary school days.

Dear Senken, Thanks for revising my essay precisely. I could learned a lot this time, such as the misused word "what", the suitable expression "all-round" and so on. I hope you would review my next essay again!! Best, Keigo

Thank you! Your correction was useful. I couldn't find a good written word meaning "whopping", which I though a bit informal. Your suggestion, "overwhelming," was the word.

Hi Teacher Senken, Thanks for your detailed correction. I could enjoy our communication about Japanese culture. And I was so much impressed to know that you researched the words "red lie" I used. I suppose you checked internet with the words "akai uso", but I wanted to use " makkana" uso" for "red lie", which we're usually using in daily life. "makka" in Japanese means bright red, and it has almost same meaning as red. "makka na uso" means "complete lie" and it doesn't have so deep meaning. So I realized I should have explained them more clearly. Anyway I appreciate you and decide to ask you the correction next time again. Best regards, mykent
