Announcements
I have a passion for linguistics and my interest in the English language means that I can make good suggestions about how to make writing more interesting and more natural.
Hobbies/Travel
My hobbies are computers, martial arts (Shito-ryu Karate), language and culture, fitness, reading, movies and travelling. I have also been playing the drums for last 3 years and regulary go to the drum studio to practice. My favourite country is Taiwan, I have lived in Taiwan for 9 years. I hope to visit Japan very soon!
Message from the instructor
My correction style is to correct grammatical errors and then suggest how to make the writing more natural. After those things are done, I can give some suggestions of how to add to the writing to make it more interesting.

Hi, Teacher Leilei! Thank you for your continuous warm support everyday! A few days ago, I had a chance to hear and see the sentence below in a American drama; "At a neighbor watch meeting the next night, residents voiced their concerns over the increasing danger their community faced. Bob Fisk warned those present that a unnamed government agency was listening in on the phone conversations." Yes! As you said, "present" was used with "those"! I was misunderstanding that " those" was a possessive and " present" was a noun. I knew that " those" is a pronoun and " present" is adjective! Also it was used in a formal situation as you said!! I see, thank you so much! It's my pleasure to know the little difference like this!

Dear Leilei, Thank you for your advice. It's difficult for me to use correct prepositions, but I'm interested in that. As you wrote, I will look at some previous submissions. Have a nice day. Regards, Naka

Teacher Leilei's message is always filled with useful advice. Also, she is good at understanding what learners want to say. I tried other sites and met several English teachers, but Teacher Leilei is the best. I was not sure if I could keep English diary, but thank to her, I'm getting it into the habit. She is an affectionate teacher who always encourages students with warm heart. I recommended IDIY to my friends to share this good way to study English.
