Announcements: I am a well-educated, highly-qualified TESOL/ESL/TEFL teacher, with six years of experience in both face-to-face and online classes, teaching students from children to adults. I have worked with students within Australia from all over the world. I have also worked and lived abroad in Japan, working with local students there. My passion is the teaching and understanding of English to those who need and want it, whether for general, business or test-taking purposes. I always endeavour to gain the students’ confidence, and try to make each and every student within my car feel as if they are receiving expert and individual attention, even though they may be part of a larger class. My work experiences cover several relevant fields, including tourism, administration, informational services and trade, and this should be seen as solid grounding for my ability to interact meaningfully, relevantly, and in a highly relatable way with students from all age groups, and all walks of life.
Hobbies/Travel: My hobbies include reading, watching TV and movies, with my favorite genres being documentaries/non-fiction, science fiction, westerns and comedies. I also like to build things, and often take machines apart to see how they work. A more recent hobby is leathercraft, which I took up a few years ago, and make all kinds of useful items that will last a lifetime!
