Message from the instructor
I have more than 25 years of editing, proofreading, and English language training experience. My major clients in the past two-and-a half years have been from Japan, China, Korea, and Europe. I have also been on an international team of academic editors that specialized in projects for American, Canadian, European, and Australian clients. As content editor, I have worked on UK and American educational websites. In the past two decades, I have prepared course books in English and have collaborated with major publishers as the co-author and editor of books on English Communication Skills and contemporary essays for schools and universities in India. I also edit casual texts, speeches, and official letters for clients. I can adapt my work to the needs of the client, the deadline, and the specifications provided. English language training with constructive feedback to learners/clients and interaction with a multinational community have always been a part of my work. I hope to assist you in making your English texts in tune with the writing and speech of a native speaker.

Thank you so much for correcting my sentences. I learned a lot from your explanation again. I didn't know much about determiners. However, actually, I didn't think my sentence "This is a sense of security " is natural. Now I'm very happy to clearly understand what unattended determiners are and why "This sense of security" (as you corrected) is correct.

Thank you for such clear, detailed feedbacks! I will work on keeping my writing concise and non-redundant, as well as choosing the best word to effectively convey an idea. I appreciate your suggestion to choose the formality level depending on the seriousness of the topic. I realized that the formality greatly impacts the credibility of my essay.

Thank you so much for your correction and easy-to-understand explanation. Your lecture is really interesting to me. I could finally learn how to use "since". In English grammar texts in Japan, it is said "since" can be used not only to express starting point of time but also to express reasons. However, I didn't know how to use these conjunctions properly. The same can be said about how to use "and" and " as well as". Thanks to your explanation, I'm so happy I could know the difference between these phrases.

Thank you so much for correcting my writings. Now I understood the difference between "thing " and "matter" and how to use these words. Also, I could understand how to distinguish between "action" and "act". Your explanation is so interesting and informative that I think I will enjoy writing English more.

Thank you so much for your detailed explanations. Your explanations were so interesting and informative that I read them over and over again. I didn't know that "remote jobs" is the more formal term, and that I can use the term "housing" instead of "where to live" Also, your suggestions were very convincing.
