Announcements
Hello :) I'm Stu and I'm happy to teach you English! If you are looking for help with Business English, Conversational English, Academic Writing or General Skill, I can help. I have been a professional English teacher for 3 years now and love my job! I live in Vancouver, Canada although I was born in the UK. I can speak both American and British English, so if you have a question about the differences, don't hesitate to ask. Thank you for visiting my profile and I hope to talk to you soon. Best Stu
Hobbies/Travel
My hobbies are martial arts, playing video games, watching movies and writing stories. I live in Vancouver, Canada and I'm thirty-three years old. I've visited Japan a few times and my favorite place is Arashiyama. I was very lucky a few years ago and got to spend some time traveling while I was working. This allowed me to live in a few different countries, such as Spain, England, France, The Netherlands, Germany and even Japan.
Message from the instructor
I try to explain the rules of English using normal words, so that it's easier to understand. I know that there are so many rules to remember, but it's my hope that if we work on understanding why the rules exist, it will be easier to remember them and use them when speaking English. Please let me know if I can improve in some way. I would definitely appreciate your feedback.

Hello, Stu. How are you doing? Thank you for the amendments you made on my essay. My late father relied on health support supplements, and he took a several kinds of pills and tablets every day. As he was afraid of a shortage of them at the store, he bought too much at a time. I thought that such supplements have a lucrative market among elderly people. People become weak when they get old. they only try an easy and seemingly quick way. I hope I will not become like them. Bye for now. Yoko

Thank you so much for your correction and explanations! According to the 1st sentence, I learned that we can use the preposition "with" to express "by using." I will use it properly in the future diary entries. Best regards.
