Hobbies/Travel
I love learning new languages. I am fluent in Spanish, French and Haitian Kreyol. I am also passionate about meeting new people and teaching them valuable life skills, such as English! I have lived in the Dominican Republic for the last 20 years. It is most definitely my favorite Country in the world. However, I've not yet visited Japan!

Hello, Roo90. It's nice to see you here again. It's a beautiful day today with beautiful blue sky and brisk air. I look around my yard every morning. Roses have many buds and will be blooming soon. This is my favorite season of the year. I googled the phrase "tarred with the same brush". It says "If some people in a group behave badly and if people then wrongly think that all of the group is equally bad, you can say that the whole group is tarred with the same brush" It is said that Japan is a safe country with a low crime rate. It might be because of the culture, as you mentioned. I remember that I learnt an old rule in a history class at junior high school, which was imposed in Japan about 400 years ago; They set five families in one group, and all the families in the group would be tarred with the same brush when some one in the group does something wrong. The culture of "tarred with the same brush" might started back then. It's a stressful culture. Thank you so much for the corrections you made on my essay. They all make sense to me. Bye for now. Yoko
