Certifications
I am a native English speaker. I have taught the English language for many years. I have a Diploma In Proofreading and Editing and a Bachelor of Business Studies Degree. I have also learned several foreign languages myself so I do understand the processes involved with learning a new language.
Announcements
English is an extremely enjoyable and rewarding language to learn. It can also be challenging. However, I provide easy-to-understand instructions so that a student can get a good understanding of the English language. I like to provide lots of examples of different grammatical concepts so that students can see the way we use different words and phrases in sentences. I am a very friendly person, and I look forward to helping people improve their skills so that they can become more confident in their ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
Hobbies/Travel
I have many interests and hobbies. I really like animals. I also really enjoy music and I play the flute. I am very keen on reading, especially novels and non-fiction books about history. I also like to cook and I find baking lots of fun. I have done some overseas travel. I have been to Australia quite a few times and once I visited the Cook Islands. I am really interested in learning other languages. One of the other languages that I have studied is Japanese. I really enjoyed it. It is so good to be able to communicate with people from other countries. I am a very friendly person and I do like to talk with people and help them when they are in need.
Message from the instructor
I am a native English speaker and I have also spent time learning several foreign languages. I do understand the necessary steps that are involved with learning a language. I like to help people understand more about the English language. In order to become more confident in reading, writing, and speaking in English, it is necessary for each individual to gain a good appreciation of grammatical rules. It is also important to understand the most natural way to express thoughts and intentions in English. I will provide informative corrections to help build understanding and confidence and maximize potential and language fluency.

Dear teacher, Thank you for asking me. I am good too. Also, thank you for checking my sentence in detail. I am also sorry to hear that you have three more weeks left of the lockdown. I also hope the increasing rate of infected persons from coronavirus will become curve flattens in the world. Take care too. Best regards, Daidai.

Dear NicolaJH Thank you for reading and correcting my sentences. I think you are very tough during a two-week curfew due to the issue of COVID-19 in New Zealand. I am also worried that the number of patients in Tokyo, Japan, is increasing rapidly. Let's both take care of our health. Sincerely Challenger2016

Thank you very much for your feedback. Many Japanese people still continue on traditional diets as daily food, though western food is surely very common. I hope you are well in this unusual situation. Thank you, Daisuke

Thank you very much for your corrections. Regarding "bubbled into Japanese," I mistook the spelling. I wanted to say "dubbed". However, I am pleased your correction using the word "subtitle." Best wishes,

I felt every sentence you made was great to explain what I think. Thank you. One thing, I have to add in second sentence. I imagine the situation which someone is following me is the night, so there are only clerk and a few customers in the convenience store. By the way, I could understand clear mean with your advice. I'm looking forward to take a next lesson with you. Best wishes Hiro
