Announcements: Hi, my name is Peter and I have managed or owned businesses in Australia for more than 30 years. During that time, I have taught and trained countless staff - including many Japanese people. I have learned that the best way to teach is to be patient, empathetic and provide positive feedback. I recently sold my business and completed a 168-hour TEFL Course. I now want to share my real-life business experience with Japanese students who want to improve their English skills so they can communicate clearly and effectively and build their career in an English-speaking workplace. I also have experience providing IELTS training.
Hobbies/Travel: My hobbies are reading and taking my dog Jinx for long walks! I am fortunate to have been able to visit lots of countries for business and pleasure. I have many favorites but I guess the most memorable 'country' I visited was Antarctica. I have been to the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Sweden, Thailand, China, Cambodia, USA, Canada, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, but unfortunately not Japan - (yet!).

When I do identify a spelling or grammatical mistake I will provide you the correction and an explanation. When appropriate I will also give alternatives and provide examples of grammar forms that you might find useful for future use. If your writing is technically accurate but disjointed or unclear, I will offer advice as to how you can improve the clarity and comprehension of your writing.
