Announcements
Hello everyone! My strength is actually a combination of British English and American English because I am Canadian and Canadian English has both influences. Therefore, I can answer questions and offer advice based on either. I am happy to work with you on grammar, punctuation, and alternate ways of expressing your ideas, particularly by expanding your vocabulary. I hope to have a chance to work with you soon! Thank you.
Hobbies/Travel
I am so happy to be working with people in Japan! I visited Japan once, many years ago, when I was in school. I spent two weeks in Yokohama, and I loved it! I always wanted to go back, but I haven't yet been. Hopefully, someday I will go there again. I also love to visit Mexico. Mexico, Japan, and Canada are all so different in terms of language, food, culture, and everything. That's what makes travelling so exciting: learning all about people around the world, what makes us different, and, more important, what unites us. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, cooking, and eating! :)
Message from the instructor
It is my honour to be able to work with you. I am always very happy when I can explain grammar to someone who is learning English. Language is like art. It communicates, and it has rules. When you know the rules, you can create amazing things!

Thank you for your feedback. As always, your explanations were easy to follow, and the alternative phrases you offered me were very useful! In Japan, a lot of young people dressed in costumes made crowds in large cities yesterday, such as Shibuya and Ikebukuro in Tokyo. Their gatherings have been a social issue because they often block the streets.

Thank you for your feedback. As always, your explanations were easy to follow and helpful. In Japan, it was hotter this September than usual, with the maximum temperature sometimes exceeding 30 degrees Celsius. It seems that fall is becoming shorter year by year.

Thank you for your feedback. As always, it was easy to follow and helpful! I can’t believe that it is almost September. Also, it doesn’t feel like that a long time has passed since the Tokyo Olympic Games were held. However, the truth is that even Paris 2024 ended this month!

Thank you for your feedback. As always, it was easy to follow and helpful! I’m glad that you liked TWICE’s song. I’m sorry to tell you that I’m not interested in the Olympics because I don’t have time to spare to watch the games. I hope that Canada will get a lot of medals!

Thank you for your feedback! It is difficult to grasp the difference between “advantage of” and “advantage to,” so I will look for examples used in books and news articles.
