Hello! I Hope you are your family are well. I am looking forward to being your guide on your language learning journey. See you soon! :-)
Hobbies/Travel
I love learning new languages. I am fluent in Spanish, French and Haitian Kreyol. I am also passionate about meeting new people and teaching them valuable life skills, such as English! I have lived in the Dominican Republic for the last 20 years. It is most definitely my favorite Country in the world. However, I've not yet visited Japan!
Message from the instructor
I will help you to understand the reason behind my corrections, but my main focus will be to build your confidence in your language skills and encourage you to speak English like a native.

Dear Roo90 I see, you wrote "although there is a chemical reaction in our brain when we feel excited it is not the brain itself that feels the emotion." Our brain receives signals and is reacted by them. So, I'm wondering where do our emotions and excitements come from? What makes us feel something? A beautiful picture in this case is just a trigger. Thank you for the revises you gave me. Notably, the 3rd line, "because they already know the painting has been authenticated by the museum." helps my English study. The tense and the word, "authenticate", are good to know for me. Take care and see you next time. Yoko

Hello, Roo90, how are you? I always like the corrections and the choice of word you demonstrate to me. The word, "altered" is nicer than "damaged" in this context. You gave me an interesting expression, " at the end of the day" which means "after all", thank you. Take care and see you next time. Yoko

Hello, Roo90 How are you? It's nice to hear from you again. Thank you for the corrections you made on my submission. You kindly responded quickly so as to make me study the mistakes in the submission while my memories are fresh. Also your nice comments make me very happy, thank you. This time, in the 4th sentence I made a challenge, hoping it makes sense, then, you say it's OK. I'm extremely happy! You wrote "There's a lot of talk and not much action!" That's absolutely true! I knew you got what I meant to say in this essay. After this submission, I will have a break and come back a while later. I hope to see you then. Bye for now, Yoko

Dear Roo90 How are you doing? I'm happy to hear from you again here. Thank you for the amendments you made on my essay. Your corrections all make a perfect sense to me. Especially, the first line, you gave me a beautiful one. "and I especially like that they don't release the cases they've charged to the public." Actually I tried to write this part again and again.... but I couldn't find a good one... "the cases they've charged" that's a phrase I wanted to write. You solved the puzzle! I feel good. Thank you. It's Christmas. I'm listening to a nice Christmas song from radio. I hope you will have a wonderful winter holiday, too. Bye for now, until I see you next time. Yoko
