I love reading, craft (paper craft mainly), cooking, history and cats. Throughout my life I have been fascinated by ancient buildings and monuments, but also the social history of how people's lives are constantly changing over time. I am hoping to live near the sea as it always makes me feel peaceful.

My favorite visited country is France, as I speak fluent French and have been there many times. I also liked the lifestyle in Denmark when I visited on a school exchange there. I would like to visit Japan, China, Egypt (historical interest), and Canada.

My goal in life is to learn at least two more languages and learn more about the culture and experiences of other people around the world. I strongly believe this is how, through shared communication, we gain understanding, tolerance and the joy in knowing others. To this end, I would also like to correspond with as many new people as I can, as getting to know someone can be exciting, and, I feel, an important part of understanding and reflecting on yourself.

I congratulate you on being an active and dedicated learner!

There are many complications about the English language such as spelling, grammar differences, idioms and slang, and the massive vocabulary with all its subtle nuances. I will focus on making the text sound natural, give alternative phrases native speakers use, and the use of grammar and spelling, as well as sentence structure and text organization.

My years of experience teaching English children ( instructing in English and French) means I am very aware of the learning processes and difficulties being a writer, including that of an additional language. As a dedicated teacher, my whole philosophy is to support and encourage through suggestions and guidance that will enhance a writer's work. The best way we learn is through trial and error and learning from our mistakes. My students learn from each other, I do not pretend to know everything, but I do know lots of ways to facilitate and energize their work. I am still learning everyday - it is a journey not a destination.

You already do a great job, I want to help you along on your journey of learning. I look forward to working with you.

Thank you very much for your corrections and advice. Now I understood how the determiners are important for my sentences. I tended to forget the determiners to the subjects. I’d like to correct it from now on. Again, thank you very much!
